We are so grateful to announce that our affiliate has been selected as a grant recipient from the United Way of Monroe County COVID-19 Emergency Fund grant program. We will be using the funds we are receiving to help us enhance our homeowner education program (virtual learning here we come!!) ensuring Habitat families are able to stay on track on their path to homeownership.

“As local nonprofits continue to respond to the needs emerging from COVID-19, we must also shift our attention to recovery efforts as we move forward,” said United Way of Monroe County Executive Director Efrat Feferman. “Rather than returning to normal, our community should strive toward a better normal by addressing the disparities and inequities highlighted by the pandemic. These investments are an important step in that process.”
