Join us for the Women+ Build Kickoff Event

Since 2001, the Monroe County Women+ Build has brought together women+ from all walks of life to build stronger, safer communities. Together, local volunteers have built 37 homes, raised over $3 million, and helped provide safe, affordable housing for 94 individuals, including 49 children.

Each year, hundreds of women+ come together for this unique volunteer opportunity and fundraiser, joining forces over the course of three weeks to build two homes alongside local families. Participants register as part of a team, commit to raising $300 to support building materials, and spend a day on-site learning construction skills with the guidance of experienced crew leaders—all in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Meet the Women+ Build team and crew leaders, learn more about Habitat’s mission, and connect with others who are passionate about making a difference. You’ll also enjoy fun activities, explore ways to get involved—from building to volunteering behind the scenes—and get a first look at this year’s Women+ Build merchandise.
