Women+ Build 2024 Logo Design Contest

Calling all artists creators, and designers from the novice to expert! Women+ Build in Monroe County is holding a logo design contest for our 2024 t-shirt and we need you, your vision, and your talents to help fill in the blank. Design credit will be given to the winning designer on Women+ Build and t-shirt marketing materials.

Women+ Build is one of Habitat for Humanity of Monroe Count’s signature build events. It is a celebration of women’s strength and their contributions to our mission—and a way to bring our community together to build a stronger future for Monroe County families. By recruiting, educating, and inspiring women, we can transform lives in our communities.

How It Works

  • Designs must be received by Friday, June 7 and adhere to the contest guidelines to be considered
  • The Women+ Build committee will narrow down submissions to 5 top designs
  • The top 5 submissions will be uploaded to the Women+ Build Facebook page for votes
  • Votes will also be accepted in-person at the Women+ Build Kick-Off Celebration on Tuesday, June 18
  • The winning design will be determined by combined totals and announced on Friday, June 21

Guidelines

  • Designs will use a one-color print process
  • You may also submit a tagline for consideration
  • Previous designs that were not selected as the featured logo in past contests can be resubmitted for consideration
  • Design files must be submitted in an electronic art file. Acceptable formats include .png or PDF
  • Designs will promote the spirit of Women+ Build

Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County will take reasonable steps to protect Artist’s copyright at all times but the Artist understands and accepts the risk associated with marketing the Works on the Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County website and otherwise.

The Women+ Build Committee reserves the right to make adjustments and alterations to the winning entry.

About Monroe County Women+ Build // During this annual volunteer opportunity and fundraiser, women+ from all walks of life come together to build homes with families and individuals in need of safe, sustainable and affordable housing in Monroe County. Since 2000, the Monroe County Women+ Build community has built 33 homes and raised over $2.5 million, helping to house 85 individuals, including 40 children.

The dates for this year’s Women+ Build event are Wednesday through Saturday, September 4-21, 2024.
