Celebrate 35 Years of Impact with Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County

This year holds a special place in our hearts as we mark 35 incredible years of Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County. Your support has been the cornerstone of our success and we are excited to continue the momentum of this journey with you.

Every action, no matter how big or small, brings us one step closer to a community — and a world — where everyone has a decent place to live. Here’s how you can stand by your neighbors and make a positive impact in our community:

• Join our More Than Houses Society: If you believe in the power of stable homes and thriving families, this society is your calling. By pledging at least $1,000 per year for five years (about $83.33/month), you provide the backbone for our essential services, volunteer support, and infrastructure projects.
• Volunteer on our construction site: Join our construction team and Crew Leaders on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays. Your hands-on involvement makes a tangible difference in building a better world.
• Get involved at ReStore: Embark on a thrilling adventure as a volunteer where every item holds a story and every sale brings us one step closer to building dreams. You can also donate your items.
• Become a Groundbreaker: If you’re inspired by new beginnings, join the Groundbreaker Society. Your commitment involves donating at least $50 for each new Habitat home dedicated in Monroe County (about 8 – 10 a year). These funds help lay the literal foundation for the next Habitat home to be built.
• Teach a homeownership class or become a budget partner: Empower families with knowledge! Your compassionate teaching or coaching allows families to overcome obstacles, ensuring they can thrive in their new homes.
• Become a S.H.E Society member: For advocates of women+ empowerment, this society celebrates your dedication. By pledging $1,000 per year for 5 years, you support future Women+ Build house sponsorships and homeowners. Plus, you receive a special pink hard hat and stickers to commemorate your membership.
• Make a donation of any amount: Every contribution counts toward transforming lives and improving our community through affordable homeownership.
