When you shop, donate, or volunteer at the Habitat ReStore, you directly support Habitat’s mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County’s ReStore is a home improvement store and donation center offering new and gently used furniture, appliances, home goods, and building materials at affordable prices. Every item sold is donated, keeping usable materials out of landfills while giving them a second life in our community.

Shop for new and gently used home improvement goods at the Habitat ReStore. Plus, proceeds from the ReStore help fund the construction of safe, affordable homes for local families, so every purchase makes a lasting impact.
Donate
All items must be new or gently used in excellent working condition. Items must be ready to sell as-is, with no damage, stains, or missing pieces. Acceptability is at the discretion of ReStore staff pending in-person review of items.

Volunteer
Our small staff relies on the help of volunteers to best serve our donors, shoppers, and future homeowners. We love working with student groups, community groups, individuals, and those earning community service hours.

Why donate to the Habitat ReStore?
Sustainable retail
Every donation to ReStore keeps usable goods and materials out of landfills. When you get new stuff and donate your old stuff for reuse, someone in your community gets a great deal.
Affordable housing
Donations to ReStore are resold to the public to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity. This supports Habitat’s work to create more housing opportunity in Monroe County through construction and education. Learn more about Habitat for Humanity here!
Earn tax credits
Donors may be eligible for tax credits for the value of their donations. As a part of Habitat for Humanity, a registered nonprofit, ReStore can provide the necessary paperwork.
