Calling all artists creators, and designers from the novice to expert! Women+ Build in Monroe County is holding a logo design contest for our 2023 t-shirt and we need you, your vision, and your talents to help fill in the blank. Design credit will be given to the winning designer on Wome+ Build and t-shirt marketing materials.
Women+ Build is one of Habitat for Humanity of Monroe Count’s signature build events. It is a celebration of women’s strength and their contributions to our mission—and a way to bring our community together to build a stronger future for Monroe County families. By recruiting, educating, and inspiring women, we can transform lives in our communities.
The winning design will be announced at our Women+ Build Kick-Off Celebration on Thursday, June 15 at Switchyard Brewing Company. The evening is a fun, casual opportunity to get to know Women+ Build, meet the future Habitat homeowners we’ll be building with, and wet your whistle with a Switchyard-brewed beer on us! About Monroe County Women+ Build // During this annual volunteer opportunity and fundraiser, women+ from all walks of life come together to build homes with families and individuals in need of safe, sustainable and affordable housing in Monroe County. Since 2000, the Monroe County Women+ Build community has built 33 homes and raised over $2.5 million, helping to house 85 individuals, including 40 children.
Join volunteers of all ages, abilities, and professions, to jointly raise the walls and critical funds for affordable homeownership in our community. The dates for this year’s Women+ Build event are September 6 – 23, 2023.
