Women+ Build Sunday Social and IU Women’s Basketball Game Day // January 28, 2024

You’re invited for an afternoon of camaraderie, sports, and socializing! Our first Women+ Build gathering of 2024 takes place on Sunday, January 28! This laid-back event is your chance to reconnect with your favorite Habitat builders and supporters, as well as an opportunity for newcomers to discover the vibrant community of Women+ Build, culminating with an Indiana Hoosiers Women’s basketball game! Limited tickets are available (on us!), so be sure to RSVP by Monday, January 22.

11:30 a.m. – Meet-Up at Our Habitat Office

Location: 213 E Kirkwood Ave, Bloomington, IN 47408
Indulge in a delightful selection of light breakfast goodies as you connect or reconnect with our dynamic women+ builders, volunteers, and supporters!

1:15 p.m. – Travel to Assembly Hall

Location: 1001 E 17th Street, Bloomington, IN 47408
Carpooling is encouraged from our office to the Simon-Skjodt Assembly Hall. Details on where to meet at the stadium will be sent in an email the week of the game. Your game ticket includes one entrée item and a drink at the game.

2 p.m. – Tipoff

Let the excitement unfold as we gather to support Indiana Hoosiers Women’s basketball in their game against the Northwestern Wildcats.

Know Before You Go

  • The Habitat office is located in downtown Bloomington; meters and pay stations are free on Sundays for hassle-free parking!
  • Hardcopy tickets will be distributed during the morning portion of the event at our office. If you plan to meet us directly at the stadium, please inform us, and we’ll make the necessary accommodation.
  • Carpooling from our downtown office to the stadium is encouraged for a seamless experience.
  • If you will be driving yourself, make a plan for parking at Simon-Skjodt Assembly Hall: https://iuhoosiers.com/sports/2023/9/19/WBB-parking
  • Keep an eye on your inbox for an event details email the week of the game. It will include specific instructions on where to meet at the stadium, as our seats will be all together.
  • You are allowed to bring one small clutch bag and one clear 12″x6″x12″ bag or a gallon plastic freezer bag into Simon-Skjodt Assembly Hall.
